Mind you, not checking me out. It was more like he was sizing me up.</p> <p>So I’m sitting there, right, and then he approaches me cautiously as if with a question or query. I thought it would be something about my clothing, kindle or maybe directions, but no. He offered me a free hair cut. !!!</p> <p>I had to confess to him that I had actually just gotten my hair cut, pointing to the salon behind me. He looked disappointed and I was feeling spontatenous, so I agreed. As we walked half block to the<strong> Jose Eber Salon</strong>, I learned that it was his first day there and the two models he was supposed to style had bailed so he was sent out by Jose to find someone, anyone, to style. He was in desperate need of a head of hair and I was glad I could help. Some other things I learned about him : His name is <strong>Brian Allen,</strong> He is super cool, as most hairdressers are and also from New York City, new to LA, in a band, likes sci-fi movies and television, has a Westie terrier… Safe to say, we got along famously. </p> <p>I’ll admit I was a little nervous near the end that he was taking off so much, maybe too much hair. But it turned out fine. Actually great. <strong> Jose Eber</strong> agreed, I look really cool now. To celebrate my new hairdid I bought myself a new hat by <strong>Rag and Bone</strong> at the <strong>Jill Roberts</strong> boutique on <strong>Beverly drive</strong>.
